Right click the taskbar, click task manager, click file, new task type chkdsk /f /r then press enter, type Y to confirm, press enter and then reboot

You can also run sfc /scannow the same way

.....how many people can we get to post diff methods to do the same thing before the OP get's back to this thread? maybe we should let her TRY some of our suggestions before we put more down?
