Trying to download pctures or play existing CD's...I get the message 'no disc detected'
Anything I can do to remedy this? 4 yr old Dell Dimension, cheaper to replace the drive or the computer.
Thanks once again

You decide.

Replacement CD-RW for $20 + shipping

http://www.tigerdire...e...77&CatId=87

or a replacement computer for $529 + shipping

http://www.dell.com/...u...s=dhs&cs=19

But it could be worth the extra money for a Core 2 Duo processor.

The 'Mighty Dell' is 4 yrs old and doesn't have video capability didn't think I'd need it..HAH!) guess I was looking for an excuse to replace this baby.
I've got one now..but no $..will download the stuff on the laptop.
