CAME ACROSS THIS WEBSITE AND THOUGHT IT BE A GOOD IDEA TO POST A CONFUSION ON MY MIND.

CAN PEOPLE POST THERE OPINIONS ON THE CPU AND THE FETCH EXECUTE CYCLE.

ALSO HAVE ANYONE GOT ANY INFO ON HOW THIS CAME ABOUT AND HOW IT PROGRESSED.

ALWAYS BEEN INTERESTED AND THOUGHT THIS WAS THE PERFECT MOMENT TO BE DISCUSSED :whistling:

What's there to have an opinion on? the Fetch execute cycle means what it says - fetch something from somewhere (memory, hard drive, program, etc) and execute it. It's a fact of computer life, it's not like its an optional setting you can toggle.
