Help Call of duty For STEAM

Hi i get this error when i try to run Call of Duty United Offensive saying, "could not load default_cfg make sure Call of Duty is run from correct folder.

Now i have this problem for STEAM games and I tried deleting the game cache and reinstalling it and it still didnt work. Anyone know how i can fix this?

Hello skrypt,

When you uninstall the games did you delete the game folders eg. C:\Progam Files\Call of duty?
