Moniter off at boot

Well i have a flat-screen moniter for my computer, everytime i turn on the computer the small led light or w.e above the moniter power button turns orange and when its orange its a blank black screen,so i have to turn it off and turn it back on again so it would become green and show. This hasnt always happened, one day it started to happen and now everytime i turn on the computer or restart......at boot it does that....i dont know if its the computer or not. And its fine...but its just annoying that i have to that everytime i turn on the computer..... any ideas? Thanks
