About 4 months ago I bought A western digital 80gig hard drive I formated to NTFS and was left with about 74 gigs of space. Since then I have only taken up about 10 gigs of space according to sizeexplorer but lately my computer has been warning me that im suffering from low disk space, which doesn't make sense, because I have about 64 gig of space to go, yet when I go to my computer right click properties it states that something taking up 64 gigs and that my drive is low on space and have 200 gig of space left, I searched through all most of my folders including my system folders and about ten gigs added up when I right click and view their properties. Yet my system still keeps telling me I have low disk space further more it show low disk space. I thought maybe a virus but that can't be since Im running nortan virus 2006 and it periodically completes scan once every two days. I have malicious software protecton as well. further more When I try to free up space (fact) yesterday I freered up 2 gigs so that the system could at least run properly yet about 4 hours later it states im suffering from low disk space and I check the drive and sure enough space disappered from thing air can anyone help....im running windows xp sp 2
