One day a little over a week ago my computer started getting incredibly slow for some unfathomable reason so I was hoping you guys could help. Also, every once in a while an item will appear in my task bar and disapear within a second or 2, but nothing appears on the screen.

Much Appreciated, sorry if I didn't follow any instructions correctly, there were a lot...hopefully I didn't miss anything.
