Problems with windows media player

Hello....up until the other day, wmp worked fine....now when I download a video off the net.....I get audio, but the video is frozen.....if I close wmp, and reclick the video...it plays fine....i'm just sick of having to open it twice....any idea's? Also I used to be able to download multiple videos at once (2).....now wmp opens immediately and sits until the video is download...instead of just popping up the small box that shows the % dowloaded.....any help with this one?
