Whichever one of the 182KB file you have, copy it to the other one shown

Ok how do I locate the 32file to put it in there

Click copy, it opens a box, find local disc C, click + then find windows, click + then find system32, click + then find wbem and click the folder, it opens but you only need to click copy then click OK

Looks like that work. Thank you both for your help. Is that something that service pack 2 should of fixed?

More likely sfc /scannow which replaces the system files

I expect there is something which only lets SP2 update existing files, otherwise it could be possible to repair XP with an SP2 CD
