Well yesterday was a big day.
I got the new computer, and I have been having my hands full trying to get things put together.
One thing I have noticed and called IBM about is that my monitor has one itybity red pixel showing on the monitor screen....all the time.
This is the answer...these types of monitor are prone this this...this is the technology thing??? Now what does that really mean?
Anyway, IBM would replace my monitor if I had " 8" plus pixels showing. However I can within one week, return my complete pc, if disatisfied! Wow...
Actually this one pixel does not really distress me, I'm more worried about the future of the monitor? Does this start with one then two. then 10 pixels when the warranty is done with?
Please.
Otherwise I'm very pleased, boy is a flat 17" screen look different than a 15 CRT monitor!
Music sounds good, but really strange Windows Media Player Skins.
I also need to contact my internet provider to help sort my e-mail out...but I can't complain, I'll eventually get settled in.
Thank you, hope for helpful insights.
