when trying to write data into my DVD disc, I encoutered an error indicated like this:

Sense: 00 ASC: 00 ASCQ: 00 (Command 00)
-------------------------------------------------------
Px.dll: 2.4.37.500
pxdrv.dll: 1.1.51.0
PxMas.dll: 2.4.37.500
PxSFS.DLL: 2.4.29.500
PxWave.dll: 2.4.37.500
pxwma.dll: 1.0.0.3

It tells me that me disc has problems and is unable to be written to. I tried every DVD disc I have including different brands but it still doesn't work.

THere was also a log that said,"writting:(3) error occurred writing data to disc.
A NT discI/O operation failed (1054).
Error Sense Data:SENSE KEY: FF ASC: 0 ASCQ:79
Everytime I get lucky enought to copy something this error appears.

Pleasee help me :whistling:

New IDE ribbon cables for all internal drives may do the trick, or at least won't do any harm and is a good place to start without spending a lot at this early stage of the troubleshooting process.
