I have been having a problem with my computer for a week now. I beleive I have gotten most of it resolved. I could not open my computer and I was told to unplug my printer and go into MSCONFIG which has resolved the problem temporarely. I still can not hook my printer up or I have the same problem. I have removed all items ( including drivers) containing Canon. I have not reinstalled them yet. But I still get the "generic host Win 32 error" and my Norton Antivirus hass asked several times if I want to block it. I have blocked it permantly for the time being. But still getting error.
Can someone please help since no one at Dell or Microsoft can?
