Hi and I hope someone can help me. I have a friends pc that i suspect is badly infected with all sorts of nasty things. The PC is running windows ME, 256 RAM, When the system boots it boots right into windows and then constantly keeps refreshing the desktop. While this is happening error messages keep popping up, some of these are: ibm00001.exe there is not enough free memory to run this program. Quit one or more programs and then try again. When ctrl alt delete is pressed sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt, when it does work there is up to 30 winoldap's and the same amount of rundll's running you can close these and it does not make any difference, 2 times I have managed to get into control panel and system resources are running at critical levels of 96-98%. machine boots into safe mode but I cant load any programs to help me here. here is more error messages: Explorer has caused an error in JYFFVP32.DLL Required Dll file not found NPPTOOLS.DLL Z13.exe file is linked to missing export kernel.32.DLL:CLOSECONSOLEHANDLE
could someone please help, thanks in advance for any help available.
