Each time, over the past week, that I've tried to install updates from the Microsoft.com site I run into the same problem. I choose the update, sometimes the tiniest file, , the download bar fills but never gets around to actually installing the update.

Yolanda, do a search for the following file

Windows Update.log

Open it in notepad, Look for Error, and paste any appropriate text here.

Also, check you system date. Windows update hates it when your system date is set ahead of today's date.

Here's the last error I could find. But that's really strange because I think there should be more.
