Can anyone help? When I try to remove picture package, I get the message 'Install shield set up launcher has encounted a problem and needs to close' this repeatedly happens, I had previousally removed the programe sucessfully, but needed to restore to an earlier time for other reasons, so i need to uninstall again, the picture package is always running when i start my computer and comes up as non responsive when i end it, hence wanting to uninstall it, any advice? thanks :whistling:

Welcome to Geeks to Go.

To keep it from starting when Windows loads, click Start, Run, type in MSCONFIG. Go to the Startup tab. Browse that list for Picture Package and uncheck the box in front of it.

Also, check the Startup folder under Program (Start, Programs, Startup). If a shortcut for Picture Package is there, delete it.

Reboot - did Picture Package start with Windows?

Now, to get it uninstalled, the Picture Package website isn't much help with support: http://www.ppackage.com/e/

I'd suggest reinstalling the software, rebooting, then trying to uninstall it again.
