I am getting a windows explorer box: Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. If I hit the Send report or the don't send report button this first box closes and the next box is the DrWatson Postmortem Debugger box and then everything freezes. I can only continue to work if I leave the first box open and just move it to the corner of my screen. I have run Spy bot, SpyZooka, and the problem still persist. I have a hijackthis list in a notepad.

You are running HijackThis from its zipped archive; please create a new folder for it and unzip the program into it. It is very important you do this before anything else!

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://us.rd.yahoo.c.../search/ie.html
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,ShellNext = http://www.onlinereg...445414c53497A0B
O4 - Startup: david.vbs---what is this? If you don't know, get rid of it.

Is the following your isp? If not, place a check next to them.

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: Domain = spectrum.lan
O17 - HKLM\Software\..\Telephony: DomainName = spectrum.lan
O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: Domain = spectrum.lan
O17 - HKLM\System\CS2\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: Domain = spectrum.lan

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Please download Spybot Search & Destroy and AdAware.

Follow all the instructions on this website to run a scan with both of these softwares.

Reboot and post a new log. :tazz:

Did you do it? If so, post a new log. I kind of got off-track because someone posted in your post, but I deleted her posts.
