First, I'd like to thank you for your help with this problem. I have been receiving OuterInfo pop-ups on my computer for at least 4 months. I am desperately trying to remove whatever it may be that is causing them. I read the post about what must be done before posting, and completed the tasks to the best of my ability. I downloaded the ATF-Cleaner, and ran the program. I completed the System Restore and created a new Restore Pointe. I downloaded the AVG Anti-Spyware and ran the scan. I also downloaded the Ewido Anti-Spyware and ran that scan. However, when I attempted to put my computer into safe mode, the mouse would not move and allow me to access the Ewido program. Therefore, I had to run the program with my computer in normal mode. I am still currently in the process of running the SuperAntiSpyware program, and have been for the past hour and a half. So far, 996 threats have been detected. I attempted to download the Panda Activescan; however, the Active Control window continued to pop up, even after I allowed it to run. I did not install the AVG Antivirus Software, as I already hav Norton. I updated my computer from the Microsoft website. I also rebooted my computer, and am continuing to get the outerinfo pop-ups.
