My operating system is Windows XP Professional. I am currently running AOL as my server. 1) Does AOL depend on IE, or can it run on its own? 2) Can I delete IE from my system and still use AOL to search the web? 3) Why does IE continuously open when I am on web sites with AOL?

Look for an option to make AOL the default browser.

Leave IE in place for updates to XP
