I had perfect keylogger on here, i think its called nicksupdater.exe i deleted everything in c/windows/update folder.. there are alot of people trying to steal some of my passwords, so im worried about more keyloggers.. im posting my hijackthis log here also.. thanks! :whistling:

Hi, and welcome to Geeks to Go. You do indeed have that keylogger, so let's get it cleaned off of there.

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked. Reboot into safe mode.

Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Please delete these folders using Windows Explorer(if present):

C:\windows\updater

After that, Reboot.

Let's run a scan just to make sure there's nothing else on there that we don't want.

Please go HERE to run Panda's ActiveScan
  • Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
  • A new window will open...click the Check Now button
  • Enter your Country
  • Enter your State/Province
  • Enter your e-mail address and click send
  • If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
  • Select either Home User or Company
  • Click the big Scan Now button
  • It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
  • When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
  • When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location. Post the contents of the ActiveScan report.
Please post a new hijackthis log and the Activescan report in your reply.
