i have an atlon 2200 1.7gzh with 256mb ram and would like to upgrade to at leat 512mb which memory do i need is it DDR 400 how many pins etc etc

i have an old 700gzh duron could i take the memory out of that wil it be compatable

done a check which a scanner i have one slot of DDR PC3200 with a maximum of 1GB per slot.* ive taken memory out of old pc it says PC133 128mb can i use this i suspect not

Hi matt66666!

No you can't use that 128MB stick of PC133 Ram. You need to go out and buy a 256MB stick of PC3200 ram. This ram is also known as DDR400 because the memory clocks at 400MHz in speed.
