Mcafee v 11 real time scanning.

When i try to disable the real time scanning at windows startup, it will come up with an alert and its very annoying and if i enable this setting it slows down my computer as i logon.
Are there any better AV's or a way to fix this? Thanks'

A good FREE AV program is AVG. You can download it here.

Personally, I would uninstall McAfee and use the AVG program.
