hi...I followed the steps in the "You Must Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log" section and in the process I identified smitfraud-C and removed it successfully(I think)...But my computer still runs considerably slow...It takes 17mins just to start up which used to take me just 2 mins...and I cant even run multiple programs at the same time unlike before due to the how slow it has gotten...In addition I also installed norton internet security 2007 and zonelabs zonealarm security suite and xofstpy se to identify the problem but have had no success...I know how my computer is capable of running and I know there must be some kind of malware undetected...any help is greatly appreciated since i need my computer for my job...thank you in advance heres my hijackthislog

Hello again,

You have two active antivirusprograms and also two firewalls. Having two anti-virus programs or two firewalls running at the same time can cause your computer to run very slow, become unstable and even, in rare cases, crash.

Please uninstall Norton Internet Security or Zonealarm. I would like to recommand you to keep Zonealarm and remove Norton.

You are currently using HijackThis from a temporary directory, this can cause problems.
HijackThis creates backups, these are needed in case of any recovery issues.
Please create a directory on your C:\ drive called C:\HJT, download and unzip HijackThis into that directory. Run the program from that directory from now on.

STEPS For Creating Folder
1. Please go to My Computer, open your C:\ drive, Select: New >> Folder and name the folder HJT.

2. Download HijackThis to the new folder:

3. Double Click on 'HijackThis.zip' to extract and install HijackThis.exe to the new folder.

4. Rename Hijackthis. Right click on hijackthis and choose rename.
Rename it to HJT.

5. open "HJT.exe". Then close ALL Windows except "HJT.exe".

6. SCAN with HJT and SAVE LOG. (a notepad window will open with the log in it when you click Save Log) (Ctrl-A to'select all', Ctrl-C to 'copy')

7. POST the log in this thread using 'Add Reply' (Ctrl-V to 'paste')
Please make sure you post the entire log including the top portion:

DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES OR CLICK "FIX CHECKED" UNTIL WE CHECK THE LOG, AS SOME OF THE FILES ARE LEGIT AND VITAL TO THE FUNCTION OF YOUR COMPUTER
