I have an ACER PC and have to date had no problems with my 'E' Drive. If I place a Pre recorded music CD into the drive it will recognise it and play the CD. If, however, I select tracks to burn I will go through the routine of selecting the tracks when I then click the button to begin the burn it just keeps on stating that the drive is busy then place a disk into the drive etc. I have tried several different disks too with the same result. Any ideas?

Rightclick MY COMPUTER
Propperties
Hardware
and delete this E drive by selecting it and press DELETE
Download the latest drivers here
Reboot, wizzard hardware will popup and re-install this device.
Try cleaning the lense with a special vd for that purpose( Costs about USD. 15)
Also the media you are using could not be compatible

I did all this and I still none the better. How come it will play pre recorded CD's and DVD's as well as games but not recognise a recordable disk?
