IE 7....What a mess

First of all thank you to whoever takes this mission on!....lol....

I have a laptop...Dell Inspiron 1200

Loaded IE7 through Yahoo..last week

Cannot log on to the Internet anymore.

I can however get on the Internet through safe mode ....what's up w/that?

Tried System Restore....nothing....
