Verizon DSL - Unistall

I've attempted to unistall Verizon DSL software three times without success.
Running Windows XL.
I've tried to remove via the add/remove software function but the hourglass has ran for 2 to 3 hours without removal of Verizon.

Any additional process will be appreciated.

Why don't you try doing it manually by searching the registry plus files on the HD and deleting all traces of that application.
I had to do that when Nero 7 got corrupted. Manual removing of the previous installation was the only way to make the new installation work properly.
