I just found out that my little brother, 2 years of age, has type 1 diabetes. Well, a 99% chance. He has all the symptoms, but we can't be positively sure until 2 last final tests are done. I ask ya'll to please pray to whomever you pray to that a miracle occurs and he becomes cured.

Thank you.

DMME,

I'm very sorry to hear this. Juvenile diabetes is tough to deal with, but they have made progress in monitoring and controlling this disease. Our thoughts are with you, and I'm sure you'll be a big support for your little brother as he deals with this.

Its a terrible disease but fortunately its been the focus of alot of research for a long time now there are some new treatments that can really help, and there is alot of promising results from groups in artificial and regrown pancreases its quite likely that by the time he is an adult there will be a cure or at least something very close to it for the first time in a long time there is allot of hope for a real cure for diabetes not this decade but quite possibly the next.
