Hi,

My friend's computer went crazy with popups on him a few days ago. Adaware and Spybot have been run but the darn things keep coming back. He doesn't even know what the clipboard is so I told him I would be his go between with whoever is kind enough to take a look at this log and recommend some fixes.

Here is the log (after Adaware and Spybot were run with updates complete).

Hello and welcome to GTG

Please accept my apologies for the late reply.

If you’re still looking to resolve this issue, please run through the steps outlined in this Topic

If that doesn’t cure your problem, please post back a fresh HijackThis log when done. Please also note that the version of HJT you are using is out of date. Please download the latest version from the link in my signature.

If, however, you have resolved this issue please let us know.

Thank you for your co-operation and once again apologies for the late reply.

Please do not apologize. I did get some help elsewhere but really appreciate your getting back to me. I know enough to be dangerous and may need some help for my neighbors in the future. Many people have computers that are unuseable

Thanks again.
