I recently attempted to flash my optical drive's firmware to the latest version, but while doing so, there was a power outage and the update was cut short. Now my drive will not even work at all, and is not detected by the system. Is there any way of accessing the drive to fix the firmware?

Have you tried running the updater again as it might find the drive even if Windows doesn't see it?
