anybody know how i can get BIOS mode on my computer during start up its and hp pavilion 543x

Try pressing the F1 key during the first startup screen.

normally the very first thing the screen says is press xxxx to enter setup, at lot depends on make, have you been on the maker's site yet, other posts seem to suggest f11
