This is goofy.... I'm trying to get the computer with win xp to recognize my camera, and it won't. I get the idea that the serial port that I have to use isn't activated.
I've looked in Hardware profiles and don't see a serial port, though the usb ports are there. How do I get the Serial Port activated so I can download my new pictures of my dog Sybil. (I know, I need to get a life!).

Polaroid PDC 700... I discovered its the program for the camera, not any port problem. Thanks..... Lets all forget it.
