I just purchased a Lexmark z645 printer and ran the cd-rom as instructed. The computer refuses to install the software and will not allow me to add a new printer. When I run add new hardware from the control panel, it goes thru the whole process and when I click finish I get a message telling me that the computer was unable to find any printer ports, restart windows. It is a USB connection directly into the computer and have started windows numerous times and still no way of loading the software or getting the computer to use the printer.
