hey guys, hopefully the question doesnt make me sound stupid haha. I bought my computer last year and the guy said that is has bluetooth. i notice that i have a bunch of bluetooth programs on my computer but after reading some sites i was under the impression that just because u have the programs pre-installed on your computer it doesnt necessarily mean that your computer has a functional bluetooth set up.

I have Toshiba Satellite M40 series.

im not sure wut other information may be necesary in order for u to help me out in with this question..
My cell phone has bluetooth and i have used it before from phone to phone but it doesnt seem to pick up my bluetooth on my computer. i keep on getting a message saying Bluetooth is not turned on. Does anybody know how this works or even if my computer has bluetooth? do i need to buy one of those Blluetooth USB drives??

Thanx
Todd

Hi, Todd

First you need to check that it does indeed have a bluetooth module built-in.
Go here: http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/
Click on the "FAQ's" link, then click "Why is Bluetooth Not Working".
