This is the second time it's happened to me. the first time, i just reformatted, but because it happened for the second time (after about..6 months), it's gotten to the point where i gotta know what hte [bleep] is going on. Ok, so this is what happened. I am running my laptop on a KVM with 2 other computers and i wanted to use the same mouse/keyboard (which is the normal function of a KVM) and then add in a USB flash drive. The problem is i only have 2 usb slots so i attached a usb hub to the kvm and plugged in the keyboard and flashdrive and left the mouse in the KVM. my aim crashed and gave me that error. i took everything out and reverted to the normal setup of just mouse and keyboard in the KVM. still i got the error everytime i started up aim. aim would not start up btw. and i kept getting copies of the same error, just stacking on itself. so i went to my laptop, unplugged the USB connecting to the KVM and aim works. i plug the usb back in and aim doesnt' work..it immediately crashed. what's going on? :whistling:. i restarted, ran spybot, nothing works. here is my hijackthis file
