I am having trouble getting dos to recognise my usb ,because I need to backup my data on my notebook, so
I can do a xp home restore. And when I type "usb" in the search posts, it just says must be at least 4 characters long.

First of all don't post the same problem in two different places.

Here is a link. There are different ways to define a usb.
I'm not sure what u r looking for.maybe u can be more specific of what the situation is if this not what u need.
