Hi, I live in Australia & have a Netcomm IN5900 Modem installed.
It shows in Device manager that it is working correctly but in real life I can't send faxes.
I read instruction manual & it states to check country code in HSF Modem Region & set it to your country.
Only problem is that there is only USA in the select window,
Is this my problem & how can I fix it?
Thanking U in advance.
Richard.

Hi, and sorry you've been kept waiting for an answer. The country selection is part of the modem's control software (the driver) and your current driver is probably a Windows generic one (installed by Windows setup, and just enough to get the device recognised but no configuration settings), rather than the one released by the modem manufacturer which is the "full monty".

The following page may prove helpful:
http://www.modem-hel...lp/country.html

However, while that page provides direct links to several modem manufacturers, yours is not among them
so I've provided the link to official Netcomm modem drivers here: http://www.netcomm.c...N5900#topSearch
