When I R-click on my desktop and choose for a new word, notepad or diz document I get the standard "New - word document" or another "New - ..".
There is a 100% change that you change that name. However very often I use the text Info.
I would like to change that standard "New - **" to just Info. In 50% of the time I would not have to rename it.
Maybe it can be done through a reg change

Sorry JimB007, your post is not making much sense to me. The right-click menu, yes okay i'm with you that far, after that you've lost me.

OK, let me try again
If you want to make a "new" document like word or notepad you always get a standard name that Windows gives you for your new document or word. That name is "New - document" or in the case you want to make a new notepad it would be "New - notepad". All from the R-click menu where you choose any of the available "new" options.

Because in 100% of the time your new document will not be called later "New - word document" or whatever... you change the name to something more appropriate. What now if most of the time your gonna rename your "new - document" name to something like "Info" or something you usually rename your document to.

If that standard Windows name of "new - ...." could be renamed to Info that would save me 50% of the time spent on renaming a new document; well just because I use notepad just to add an info document in a folder. Of course it should remain possible to rename the new standard "Info" to something else.

I hope this could be done by a reg change.
