hello i have an ultimate vista cd, and a pc that has a bad cdrom drive. it currently has no os on it. i was wondering is i can make an iso of the cd on another computer and extract it to a usb drive. if so can i install to the harddrive from that? let me know soon. im planning on ordering another dvdrom drive thou. but i wanna get it up and running

If you had a big enough flash drive, I don't see why you couldn't rip the DVD to an ISO, then extract the ISO into the root of the flash drive (Make sure it's the root).

well i got it installed and running. i thought about doing that. putting it on my psp's mem stick or ipod nano(both 4gig) then i realized my usb ports arnt 2.0 thatd take forever, so i ended up extracting iso to 2ndary hdd and ran the setup from it. also it seems to run pretty good on a below min. requirements computer :whistling:
