Have you tried removing the association from WMP? (Going into WMP and unchecking the file types.)

Right click on one of the media files you want to change and choose Properties.

Next click Change and if WinAmp is in your list, choose it, otherwise click Browse and browse to the WinAmp folder and choose it from there.

Click Apply, then OK and it is done.

hi thx for the answer, but i have to tell you that i already tried that and i couldn't fix the problem

look:

here i go to properties

Posted Image

then i press the change button to look for winamp.exe

Posted Image

then it shows me all the programs that i can use to run the file, but note that i can't uncheck the option of "using always the same program"
so i simply go to "browse" to search for winamp.exe

Posted Image

i choose winamp

Posted Image

but then nothing happens

Posted Image

i think this problem started when i installed and then deinstalled the quicktime player and the NERO cd burning program

plz help me with this

well that's all, thx in advance
