I installed XP and then set it up, then went to install Vista and it goes through the first stage of setup then restarts and tries to boot Vista again and then I get:
winload.exe is missing or corrupt.
I have tried re-downloading the iso, I have tried formatting the whole thing 3 times, I have tried running install from XP, with all having the same results.
Please, any ideas would be helpful!
thx
--EDIT-- Forgot to add, that Vista's boot loader does actualy load and both XP and Vista are there, but if i chooose Vista I get the error, if I choose XP all works perfectly fine, I am currently in XP which seems to be working OK. I have tried repairing from the DVD and it starts to load and then says it is fixing problems, then says it has fixed problems and to click finish, so I do and the same thing happens. I can also run Vista (clean install) by itself it just won't load if XP is on the HDD. They are both on seperate partitions but Vista refuses to load. Also, should vista be in boot.ini in XP?
