i've had a game called "AFL LIVE 2004" since the start of last year. and when i got it, worked fine on windows 98, but since getting XP on my computer has stopped working. It says it supports XP, but when i start the game, it loads the start up then comes up with the usual "AFLLIVE.EXE has encounted a problem...." well i dunno whether ive made myself really clear, but i hope someone can help. i've looked all over the net for a solution, but nothing.

You could try the program compatability wizard. Start -> All Programs - Accessories -> Program Compatability Wizard

just tried this, but same result. i looked into the error report and it said the file to be included was:
C:\DOCUME~1\Pete\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER20F.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt
so i looked into appcompat.txt and this is what it said:

Do you have windows xp sp2?

A lot of games were broken by sp2...this is not one that I am familiar with, but it is a real possibility

sp2 means "service pack 2"
I had a second partition from which i booted for a while to play some old 95 and 98 games (Death Rally) awesome game :tazz:

So a second harddrive with 98 or a multi-boot option with 98 could help.
