Hey I got a list of components I want to work with...I just need a little help with all the specs so I can view them to get a better knowledge. So what I've done is gone ahead and constructed an Excel worksheet, all the peices are listed below as well as where they were found...Is there anybody out there that would be kind enough to take the time out to fill out my template so I can better understand the components and specs? Thank you so much!! Here is the list followed by template....

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 - $187

MSI Motherboard - $82

1GB OCZ Memory - $100

Antec Case with 400W PSU - $105

And depending on whether you play games or not, for a video card:

If you do play games, Sapphire Radeon 1950XT - $300

or, a Geforce 8800 GTS - $300

I am sorry that we cannot help you the way you have setup your thread. First thing is that none of your links work so we are gussing at what you are using. Second is although some people use excel most people don't so a excel file to fill out is kinda dumb. A text file with links would be better. As it is it looks like you are trying to do something else other than building a computer.

What you have listed looks like a good computer. The only things i would add to it is a good Creative sound card and some case cooling fans.

Hey thanks man, sorry I did not realize the links did not work...I will try to find the right links. And I just did the excel for me and others to see....a text file would be fine...I will post back in a couple of minutes once I get the links to work. Again I apologize.

Here are the working links...I'm sorry about that. Would you be able to put them in a text format w/ a description of the components? I know they have specs on the site, I'm just having a hard time linig everything up to each component/description. Thank you for your help.

Um, is this some kind of homework or something. If it really is work related how are you going to continue to help if your job is computer related?
Remember we are volunteers here and expecting someone to give each a description is a lot of work, your awnsers are only a google search away.
