Appreciate all help.. :whistling:
Have gone to Microsoft support and Dell.. I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 XP - Media Edition ver2002, SP 2. When I had used RegCure to clean up my PC the following showed up after I had rebooted.

"Windows Installer">" The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk"
I clicked on cancel and got the following
"Error 1706 No valid source for PanoStandAlone can be found"forLooking for PanoStandAlone CD"

After that I got a pop up from Microsoft.Net Framework -An unhandled exception has occurred in a component....under details it lists the following

To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

I then re-instated the items cleaned and it was fine. I did different groupings to avoid the problem at a later date but I must have cleaned an item by mistake and the same situation appeared again but now it seems that I can't recover the item., and I can't get rid of the above messages.
Where can I locate the PanStandAlone file or how do I go about using the JIT...I'm not a programmer!

Again, thanks for any help on this subject

This may be an "Installer" problem. Sometimes the Windows Installer has incomplete or damaged information remaing after the removal of something. Installer then tries to "install" whatever it was and sends the "Cannot find..." message. Microsoft provides a tool to deal with this not uncommon problem. If the Installer Cleanup Utility lists the above named item, simply left click it once to highlight, and then select "Remove." Caution: any program that this tool is used on will likely need to be re-installed in order to function. Use this only for already removed applications.

Found another answer through Goggle search...It appears that this was related to the HP Digital Camera software installed...RegClean that I used might have cleared it and it couldn't be found.... So, I rebooted my PC and when the windows installer message appeared and asked for the PanoStandAlone CD, I inserted the CD that came with my camera and it worked!...I no longer have the problem
