Hey there

Every time I start up my PC, I get an error message saying that my system clock has been changed (the error message relates to the program Assignment Organiser)

I also get a similar message when trying to change the genre of an album on windows media player

I've done nothing out of the ordinary to cause the problem!

It's the little CMOS battery is dead. Shiny stainless steel, about the size of a nickel costs about three bucks, be carefull when removing it and observe polarity when replacing it.

Check out PCGuide for more info about CMOS Battery and what it causes. Gives some tips on what to do, but pretty much depends on your knowledge of getting into your PC.
