Hello,

I just tried to boot Win98SE and got two messages:

"Error starting program: The MSVCRT.DLL file is linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:RtlGetNTVersionNumbers"

The other message box says that I need to reinstall Windows (!)

Then all I can do is reboot and wait for the same error messages again...

HELP! Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kevin

here's a suggestion if you have access to another win98 system.

on the other system:
copy the 2 files from \windows\system
create a win98 boot disk(if you don't have one)

on your system:
boot from the win98 boot disk
insert the floppy with the replacement files
copy the files to c:\windows\system

if you need more details - just ask
