This is the new CPU that I got a week ago.

WinXP Pro
- MSI PM890M-L LGA775 Motherboard
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86Ghz Processor
- Cosair 1GB (2 x 512MB) 667DDR2 RAM
- 250GB Segate SATA II 7200RPM (16MB) Harddisk
- MSI Nvidia NX7300LE-TD256E 256MB PCI-E Card
- Integrated Realtek AC'97 Audio CODEC
- Samsung DVD-RW 18x Drive Black
- Integrated Realtek 8139B Fast Ethernet 10/100
- Casetek Casing with AcBel SFX 250W PSU
- 4 x USB 2.0 Back Panel, 2 x USB 2.0 Front Panel

The thing is this machine will hang once a day, sometime morning sometime afternoon.

It just hang even it is left idle or in between word processing software.

Please advise way to check and recomend any software to check.

Thanks.

Definitely change out the power supply there. 250W is WAY lower then it should be for your computer. I would get at least a 500W power supply. You can find good ones at tigerdirect and newegg.

With those spec's, 250W isn't even close to enough. Can you post a link to a picture of your case?

ok,

Here is it:

1. The winxp is a new installation so I doubt so it is virus, norton 2006 full updated and scan without detected anything.
2. When it hang, I could do anything, not ctrl + alt + del, not moving mouse, not even numlock light on off and so on, have to do a hard reset. But the harddisk light full all the time all it hang.
3. I am try Sandra Engineer Vision latest to do a burn in test, so far 21 hrs still havn't hang. No over heating.
I choose all test except for DVD drive and hard disk drive (hard drive test give a read error, any know why?)
4. My friend say it could be my power extension cord faulty, possible?
