my computer/clients at the local office where the server (win2000 terminal server) is located, will access the database very slowly, but the clients that remotely dial-in via terminal services are running the database just fine!!!!!??????

is there a reason the local clients would be this slow?? they are connected to the server via a 3com hub (no router)..... how do u measure speed between clients and the server???

interesting though, the DSL speed that these local clients can achieve is satisfactory (and they are using the DSL connected to the server.... so i'm confused as to the slowness of the database but not the internet.
