Everynow and then when I have my speakers on i hear this beep noise out of no where. Wether im on my pc or laying down. I notice though when im playing a game and this happens it starts lagging. Is this some sort of notice that windows is updating something or maybe some program is looking to update? My windows update is set to check at 3am so i dont believe its that. My McAfee is set on auto but there is no set time listed and im not sure on how to go about changing when it does it. I know the beep happens kinda frequently like maybe every hour or so or maybe less. It would just seem odd to me that it would look for an update every hourish. Thanks in advance.
