I just reformated my computer and I can't seem to find my SoundMAX sound card on my Hardware Drivers. Is there any other way of getting it that is like it but not excatcly the sound cards name like Intel, Crystal, etc?

Just stepping in here. First I'll say hello to peterm whose handle I haven't seen in a while.

Now would this happen to be a Dell computer, because they use SoundMax a lot? If it is go to the Drivers and Downloads at Dell's site and put your service tag number and OS in and it will take you to all your downloads for that machine.

Yes, I do have a Dell. I fixed the problem by clicking something that has to do with Intel. Sound works ok now.
