...the internet explorer properties come up instead of the browser, can anyone explain how I can fix this? Cheers...

It may have something to do with me fiddling around with the 'add/remove windows components' bit on the 'add/remove programs' utility in control panel. I was trying to remove Messenger, clicked the check box for it, and since then I keep gettting the above problem, with Messenger still present. Any ideas on how to get IE back? I can still access the web via my computer...

Is IE ticked in windows components, if yes, untick, click next until it completes, reboot, replace the tick for IE, click next
