I use Nero Burning ROM / Express (i don't think there's too much difference there) and i do the normal process to burn the dvd.

It starts out normal with the used read buffer reaching 100% and staying up there (sudden drops to 98% which isn't the problem). After 5 minutes or so, the used read buffer drops all the way down to 50% or so and just keeps on going down. This happens every time now and the dvd ends up failing to burn. I have wasted about 8 blank dvds right now, and i have finally decided to seek out for help.

I used to use Roxio 6 until it stopped recognizing the drive...

What do you guys need to know to help me out?

PS: when i start burning my dvd, i do nothing except watch what happens so the drop of the used read buffer is not a product of me opening up a program

Have you got 6.6.0.8 if so, and you have the time, remove and re-install and use DVD RW until its running well

yea, i have nero 6.6.0.8

I used to have the problem with the non-updated version... so i tried the update, but I had no luck with that either.

I guess I'll try reinstalling later
